Our Story

SPS Civil is a family owned and operated business established in 2013. Based in the Upper Spencer Gulf region in the North of South Australia. We have supported projects and provided services to companies including BHP SA Water, ENERVEN, Cowell Electric, BMD Group, Exact Contracting, Ahrens and UGL.

Initially we provided exploration services to OZ Minerals including exploration tracks, drill pads and sump development and rehabilitation. As part of these services, we carted water for drilling and dust suppression during construction of the Carrapateena Mine.

During OZ Minerals development of the Carrapateena mine we identified a need for supply and installation of all types of fencing. Specialising in all types of fencing including chain mesh, Tilt up panels, Exclusion and livestock. We are now delivering projects in the hard-to-reach areas of South Australia.

SPS Civil works with a multitude of clients, mining, commercial, civil, government and private across South Australia delivering projects associated with, fencing, civil earthworks, dust suppression, and other site preparation and rehab projects. Our success is based on a simple commitment to develop and maintain lasting relationships with our clients, subcontractors and suppliers.

SPS Civil has an office based in Port Augusta, “the crossroads of Australia”, from here we can mobilize to any site in the state as well as travel interstate.
