Oodnadatta Airstrip – Outback Community

The Project:
SPS Civil supplied all materials required to install 7000 meters of 1800 high exclusion mesh complete with 300mm hinged vermin apron, complete with 4mm helicoil backing wires. Strained mesh was clipped to the backing wire. Steel rails between post were welded to make fence strainer assemblies, complete with diagonal bracing wire. Strainers consist of, 13 corner assemblies, 3 vehicle gate assemblies, 2 vehicle gates plus PA gate assemblies and 2 inline fence assemblies. The fence includes eight 3 meter wide vermin gates with collars.

SPS Civil removed all of the existing fence and dispossed of this at the Oodnadatta waste dump to allow for opportunity to be re-used within the community.
