At SPS Civil we provide a wide range of trenching solutions to cater to your project needs from pipeline installations to all electrical works including solar, wind and BESS farms. We can work with you and your project to dig trenches for you to lay fibre optics, water and gas mains, power and communications trenches.
Access roads are used to provide temporary access into and through construction sites, as well as permanent, low-traffic access for ongoing maintenance. At SPS Civil we are specialised in accessing the hard-to-reach areas of South Australia. We can help you build an access road that minimises vegetation disturbance, while considering the intended purpose of the land. We specialised in building access roads while working for both Oz Minerals during early construction of the Carapateena Mine as well for UGL capping sand hills for the new Port Augusta to Olympic Dam powerline.
At SPS Civil we have a skilled team that holds tickets to handle heavy equipment. Auger

Excavator

Grader
Primarily used for levelling and smoothing surfaces in construction and road building.
Loader
A heavy equipment machine used in construction to move or load materials such as soil, rock, sand, demolition debris, etc., into or onto another type of machinery.
Manitou
Generally, a rough-terrain forklift is used for handling materials on uneven ground. These machines are designed to move heavy loads across construction sites, landscaping projects, and other locations with challenging surfaces.
Roller
A heavy construction vehicle used to compact various materials like soil, gravel, asphalt, and concrete.
Skid Steer
A compact, versatile machine used for a variety of tasks in construction, landscaping, and other industries. It’s characterised by its ability to manoeuvre in tight spaces due to its unique steering system, which involves “skidding” or dragging its wheels to turn.
Tipper
Used to lift and transport loose building materials such as asphalt, construction aggregate, dirt, grain, gravel, sand, and wood chips in bulk.
Water Truck
A specialised vehicle designed for transporting and distributing water. These trucks are equipped with a large water tank and spray nozzles for dust suppression, soil compaction, and other applications where water is needed on a work site.
